2 7 is worst hand

Postby Scotty69 » Thu Feb 23, 2006 11:36 am

7 2 off suit is the worst hand, there is no link between them, at least 2 3 has the chance of a straight, so i bloody conclude it IS the worst ahnd in poker

As far as psychological value, A-K is horrible. It only has one set of 3 cards for the straight, as opposed to 2 for 2-3 and 4 for anything else. However, the high ranks and the impressive nicknames make you want to all-in. And of course, the one time you fold it will be the time the Q-J-T flops.

Statistically, K-K has the best shot.

Once you become a better poker player the success of this hand decreases accordingly.

No, Im just saying that if you win with 2-7, dont expect it to last. As you continue to play you will probably come to realize that you need quite a bit of luck for it to win.
