Thank you very much for all your concern. This has indeed been a tragic experience to a lot of people here. Crikey thank you very much as well for your concern about the wife's losses. Right now, some areas are still in rescue mode, and some are in the asessment and cleaning up stages. I agree with bananasplit, the best way to send relief is through the red cross, unless there are specific people we need to address. This is because donations if send by bulk may be considered taxable and undergo red tape that it may come too late. Right now, we are busy sorting out clothes and furnishings again and this is just to give to people we personally know who were affected by the calamity. Just to give you an idea of the extent of the damage, in my wife's office alone, 50% was affected and needs relief. I expect that such will be the case all over.
Local people who are able to may be willing to help through relief agencies either in kind or in person, like helping sort and bag relief goods as relief centers are right now in need of such.
To all our TJ friends who have been affected, don't hesitate to voice out your needs. To all our TJ friends, again thank you very much for your concern. With God's help and blessing and your prayers, we will overcome.
