Play Style

This Power Player feature gives you insight to how your opponents play.

Examples:

In general there are 4 terms most used to describe a poker player's style: passive, aggressive, tight and loose. Passive and Aggressive are opposites Tight and Loose are opposites

This leads to two scales that are used to put a personality on the player. Only Power Players can see this Play Style information, so Power Players have a small advantage in knowing how other players tend to play.

Passive/Aggressive is based on actions throughout a hand and is based on the number of times a player BETS or RAISES compared to the number of times he CALLS. By calling more, you are not forcing the action or tough decisions on others, so you will be labeled Passive. Betting and raising relatively often makes you more Aggressive.

Tight/Loose is based only on your decisions PRE-FLOP. It has to do with which hands you decide are worth playing. It is measured by how often you VOLUNTARILY put chips into the pot before the flop. Loose players are more willing to call bets and raise, while Tight players tend to fold and wait for better hands to play.

Reset Your Style You can reset your play style with /clearstyle in the lobby, provided you have played 250+ hands in the current play style analysis.
